Been a bit of a lull between postings. I’d like to say that its been because I’ve been working hard on my songs, but that wouldn’t be true.
I’ve been on holiday and stuff, but really I’ve just been trying to get back to the basics of being a follower of Jesus.
When I do that everything about me improves, just makes you wonder why I ever let things slip.
I’m thankful for all the prayers and support I receive and I’ve very blessed to be in the church I am in.

Over the last few months I’ve been trying to focus on who I am in Christ. A Google search a while ago found a very useful list of scriptures on
https://joycemeyer.org/ . The list can be found here .
Its been on my heart to write songs based on these scriptures as I explore what they mean for me. Yesterday I spent many hours singing and playing and in time a song emerged which is on its way to being finished.
The key scriptures were:
These eventually became lyrics and then a song. The lyrics still need a bit of tidying up but I thought I’d share them here.

Is 2015 nearly over and done with?
I look back at my plans for this year and although I’ve accomplished so much, none of it has been on the song writing or recording front.
We’ve had a load of work done to the house and that has pretty much put everything on the back burner. I’ve also seen an increase in the prophetic when I worship both from myself and from others as well.
All in all its been a good year, but not in the way I expected.
